From newly improved diaper-changing techniques to praying with and reading to infants, our daily schedule is packed with quality time and careful planning to scaffold all children to reach and exceed developmental milestones, spiritually, physically, cognitively, and socio-emotionally.
As toddlers bridge the gap between infancy and preschool, their schedule and Godly STREAMS curriculum provide hands-on activities, books, and learning tools that aid toddlers in exploring and learning about God, their environment, people groups, plants, animals, and more, including socio-emotional and communication skills. Some of the teaching and learning strategies implemented through the Godly STREAMS curriculum include playful learning, reading (alphabet recognition, teacher read-aloud, guided reading), small grouping, one-on-one learning, nature-walk/exploration, etc.
Our preschoolers are taught, trained, and adequately prepared for school-age activities through active learning and active play provided through the Godly STREAMS curriculum. Preschoolers practice praying, reading (guided reading, shared reading, etc.), mathematical concepts (unitizing, subitizing, one-to-one correspondence, geometry, etc), scientific concepts, and other educational and spiritual concepts that will simulate the daily life of a kindergartener and first grader. At Croomsville Christian Academy, we also incorporate kindergarten routines and activities in our program so that when our preschoolers proceed to kindergarten, they are fully ready to learn and excel.
The Godly STREAMS curriculum is a comprehensive, academically rich, God-centered curriculum to teach and raise good seeds and godly students. Our Godly S.T.R.E.A.M.S. curriculum features a Child Learning and Interest Observation Tool and provides rich academic rigor, complemented with the use of high-quality learning tools that scaffold early hands-on learning, to prepare and equip students for school-age abstract learning. Godly S.T.R.E.A.M.S., being a crosscutting, interdomain curriculum, implements multiple learning approaches such as the early concrete-pictorial approach to scaffolding while educating children through educational principles and key content areas, including:

God expects godly parents to teach their children to know him, his truth, and his prescribed way of living. All through scripture, it is clear that God has a high value for children and them knowing him and loving him by obeying his word. At Croomsville Christian Academy, we provide resources and support to help parents fulfil their most important mission in the lives of their children, which is knowing and loving God by obeying his word.
